Monet
In the 1880s and 1890s, Monet began painting "series" — paintings of one subject in varying light and viewpoints. His first series is of the Rouen Cathedral from different points of view and at different times of the day. He made during this period also a serie of more then 30 paintings of " Haystacks or Grainstacks". (1890-91) On different places on the web you can find images of these stacks, but you will almost nowhere find the whole collection. Our American counterpart Alan Ritch (www.hayinart.com) and Wim Lanphen collected them to present them on this site. More info about Monet on Webmuseum and the Internet Art Museum.
We put in the title of the painting and the link to HayinArt.
